hi im new to the scene of boat forum but not new to boating, i have a question and I'm hoping that someone has the knowledge about FFI and ETEC fuel related problem solving. Here is my question recently i had to pull my FFI system off while I was removing it some how i broke the neck off the fuel pump itself. Is there a replacement pump i can buy without having to spend 6-7 hundred dollars for a complete FFI. I can find ETEC high pressure pumps for 180-220 dollars. Can the ETEC pump be used in place of the FFI they appear to be just alike. Thank you for all help.:

No the Etec and Ficht fuel pump/vapor separator are not the same, Etec pump will not work on your motor. The fuel system and electrical parts are getting harder to find for the Ficht model motors, a lot of the parts are no longer available and the ones that are available are very expensive.
I don't know of any aftermarket companys or where to find cheaper pumps, you might do an internet search for that part number and see what you can find.
