help with Johnson fast strike 150

Hi I have a 1992/3 johnson 150 the fuel bleeder valve is cracked I've found a new one at the parts house but can't seem to get the old one out it looks as if you just pull it out but it really doesn't feel like it wants to move, any suggestions, thanks
