i have a 85 j30roc went to grease the fittings and they would not take grease. replaced half of them, they were the screw in kind. the other half seem to be nonreplacable please help

They should accept grease, try picking the tip (if they are non replacable).

What are you using to grease the fittings? My 1978 manual says to use "OMC anti-corrosion lube", but I can't seem to find this anywhere...What do the fellow forum members use to grease nowadays?

Use a good Marine grease, Evinrude, Mercury, Yamaha or any other brand makes marine grease to fit into a grease gun. Aftermarket companies like Lubrimatic.
