    Hi,

I'm having problems with my motor when I first begin to throttle up. The engine is slow to increase speed and sometimes seems like it is not moving at all. I have to power it down several times and power back up until starts to move. After it is warmed up this problem disappears. A friend said that it might be a spun prop but if it was why would the problem stop? It seems to me that a spun prop would be an on going problem. Any ideas?
    Thanks.

It probably is a spun prop hub, if so then engine wont rev up but little or no reaction from boat like a clutch slipping.
may need to have prop rehubed.

Thanks for the advise I'm going to mark my prop and hub and run it on Friday. If the prop and hub are not lined up I'll know it's a spun hub.
