I have a 1965, 9.5, Model # MQ-11C Johnson Outboard. I want to overhaul this engine. My question is will the years of 1965 to 1971 ( +/- Years ) work for replacing pistons, rings, bearings and etc work for this vintage engine ??

I don't have parts catalogs below 1968 so not sure if newer pistons will work, probably are the same. Might check with https://www.outboardbooks.com/manual/MQ-11/Johnson/ they have old manual and catalogs.
