  • Problem on my 115 outboard motor

Hi guys.. I need some help please ..
I have a johnson 115hp outboard motor. When i try to start it up.. It turns the motor a bit and stops... At first i thought the motor was seized but when we turn the flywheel opposite direction it turns and stops too and vice versa...also as if there is something stuck in side

    What might be the problem?

Sounds like you have a broke rod, one piston is not moving. Put a screwdriver in spark plug hole against piston and turn flywheel to see if piston moves.

Will that be the rob holding the piston or a rod somewhere in the engine?

          Piston rod probably broke.
