Gt-300 v8 1989
Hi there,
I’m new on this forum and all the way from the Netherlands, so excuses me already for language issues. I have just bought an Piranha Carrera with a Johnson GT300 V8 and i can’t wait until I can test it on the water. It has been standing for 12 years insight a barn so it needs a little love and care. My first problem is where to find al the right information about parts and technical specs. A site as boatnet helped al little but not enough. Is there someone who can help find something like a service manual or anything? it’s a j300plcem-1989 made in the USA. Also when you have some tips/tricks with these engine please let me know. I have already understand that its better to put some extra bolds from the outside into the bearing carrier from the prop axle because it can come loose.
