Hi,
I have just received posession a 1987 6HP 2 stroke Johnson outboard (J6SLCUD) and I am overhauling the lower unit. I have been trying to get a complete seal kit for this but everywhere I look I cannot find one for a 6HP model. Mastertech shows seal kits for earlier models and also smaller or larger models but nothing for an '87 6 HP...

As the lower unit might not be specifically tied to a HP model (I believe the 6HP and 8HP are basically the same engine), does anyone know if another of the seal kits would be the same? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
