I recently purchased boat w/150 ocean pro.mdl#j150exeue. Should the primer bulb for fuel build pressure? Other engines I've had did,this one is not but seems to run fine.Thanks, I don't know anything about this engine yet.I replaced primer bulb but same results,does not build up pressure.I now have an extra primer.

according to my model # i have a '97 yet it shows 1996 with no month.any help with my opening question would be greatly appreciated.It was almost 80 out today and the water looks great... -
No, it should not build nor maintain pressure while running.Comment

Thank you for your response,this site has been helpful and I'm sure ill have more technical questions in the future.I plan on keeping this '94 angler 204.The original motor was replaced with this one,supposedly freshly rebuilt.
