Johnson 70 VRO fuel pump replacement with conventional fuel pump?

Has anyone changed over their VRO pump to a conventional pump? How well does it work and is it hard to get to the original vacuum fitting to block off the vacuum source? I believe Sierra 18-7352 may work?

If the powerhead is setup whereas the smaller style fuel pump can be installed, many boaters have done just that and it works out fine.

No, I don't know which pump would fit. You can also convert the engine so that the present VRO pump is used to simply pump a premix fuel/oil mixture.
