  • no spark 2 cylinders

Have a 92, 200 jhonson. Was running about 70mph and the tach needle started acting funny than the motor lost power and died. Turned the key off and restarted but had a miss. Coming out of the hole you could feel the motor trying to pick up the dead cylinders. after getting home did a compression check and checked spark. Found that the bottom 2 cylinder on right side has no spark. I have been told in the past that if a power pack went bad I would have 3 dead cylinders, if this is true am I looking for a pick up coil problem or something else. Thanks for any help.

The trigger coils, power pack or ignition coils could affect 2 cylinders. The coils can be swap to a good firing cylinder to test coil, Check wires at coils they have corrosion in terminal and check grounds at coils.
