johnson 150 GT im having problems with engine cutting off while being in full plain, i recently discovered the service valve was leaking gas while im trying to prime it to restart, does anyone know if this would cause my boat to cut off, while running full throttle ? what is the purpose of the service valve. how hard is it to replace the fuel tanks. I have no room with 3 batteries and two huge gas tanks to have onboard charger no where to mount it? what should i do, also how or what can i use without hurting livewell to get grease etc out of bottom of my boat under batteries and around bilge pumps?

Not sure what valve you are referring to but if you have a fuel leak at all it should be repaired and could cause running problems. If the compartments opening are large enough for gas tank to fit through it then may be able to remove tank, otherwise it would be very difficult to remove.
